"Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them" (Isaiah 42:10)
There are new songs to sing to the Lord every day because He is always doing new things in our lives to show His power and presence. We can look to Him to refresh our spirits when we are low with a new song of Joy and peace. Our part of this newness is to be aware, humble, and open to what the Lord is doing in our lives.
Thank you for being a singing congregation!
If you can carry a tune, why not thank God for that gift by joining our choir? We strive to set the tone for the most precious celebration of the week through relevant songs that reflect the scripture readings of the day. We want to encourage full, active participation of all in the assembly, lifting our hearts in praise and thanksgiving to our God.
Although it is desirable and helpful, you do not have to be able to read music. It is having the ability to sing and a desire to help lead the Parish in song.
Members sing at all weekend Masses and the occasional special Celebrations of Mass. Members decide which Mass they prefer to attend.
Rehearsals are currently on hiatus. If you would like to sing in the choir with us, please come 1/2 hour before Mass begins to practice with us (whichever weekend Mass you prefer) . Please consider joining this summer and lending your voice to the celebration of the liturgy! Regular practice sessions will resume Wednesday, August 23rd at 6:30pm in the church. The Adult Choir is open to anyone ages 13 and older.
Open to any children able to read and likes to sing. For more information visit here.
