Director of Religious Education
The Faith Formation classes will be working on a community service project beginning October 1st. Food and money will be collected to give to families in need in our local community. Our Goals:
1. To teach our children about the power of giving and sharing God's love.
2. We hope to collect 1,000 individual food items and $1,000 by the end of our Dec 17th Session.
Students were given a letter with details of this outreach, along with the list of requested weekly food items (on back of letter). Lost your letter? Letter didn't make it home? Click the link below for the distributed information.

Attention Parents of Children who will be celebrating 1st Reconciliation and 1st Communion this spring:
There is a mandatory parent meeting this Sunday, November 19th at 10:15 in the parish hall. Donna Thompson will have information concerning the Sacramental Preparation sessions and other expectations concerning these sacraments. Please call Donna in the office if you have questions or are unable to attend.
For 4th-6th Graders- Saturday, December 9th we are going to play a game of Paintball! Michael is currently negotiating the final details, so consider this a "save the date."
Note for parents: We have signed up for low velocity markers, so your youngsters will be fine.
For 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Graders- Sunday, December 17th we are going to see the movie Ferdinand! Once movie times are set by the theater, we will have more details. Until then, save the date!
**Parents, Michael is going to need lots of help as chaperones. He would like a child to adult ratio to be 4:1 at minimum. Please contact Michael right away if you are able to assist!

Children meet Sunday mornings during the 9am mass. Children process out of the church with their catechists at the beginning of mass and return during the offertory.
Students meet in the parish hall from 10:15-11:15am.
Reminder: All Children are to be dropped off and picked up in the parish hall. For safety reasons, children will not be dismissed into the parking lot or allowed to walk to the church without a parent.
Interested in becoming more involved? Contact Michael Smith if you are interested in being a catechist, a substitute, a chaperone, or assisting with special projects/events. Safe Environment training is required for all volunteers who work with children or youth.
Each month, a different grade will participate in a musical session during their regular scheduled Faith Formation Session. Information about the role of music in the liturgy will be presented, and we also hope to open the door for youth participation in our Youth Choir and other musical events. We hope that you will be present and encourage your child to participate in these special sessions. Questions can be directed to Jill Austin, Director of Music at: email@example.com or 910-366-2634.
The musical training will happen during the regular scheduled FF session, and the designated students will sing a prelude music at the 11:30am Mass that day. If a young person does not wish to sing before the congregation, it is not mandatory. We will still have the FF session to learn about the ministry of music in the Church.
The schedule will be posted here once available.
