Updated Needs for Catholic Charities- Catholic Charities currently has a great need for new or gently used Children’s summer clothing. They will accept sizes 2T through youth 12. Please make sure used clothing is laundered as they have no way to wash clothing. They are also in need of diapers and/or pull-ups in sizes 4, 5, and 6.
As always, they will accept non-perishable food donation-especially breakfast food items.  Any donations you can provide are greatly appreciated.  Food can be placed in the basket in the gathering space or brought to the parish offices during regular business hours.  All food is delivered weekly.
Thank you for the continued generosity to our neighbors in need!

June 23-29, 2019, several of our youth will participate in a community service mission in Charleston, SC. While there, our teens will be partnered with teens from around the U.S. and sent into the Greater Charleston area to provide assistance to the needy of the community. Tasks may include repairing homes for the disabled, feeding the homeless, assisting in a child development center in low income areas, to name a few. While on mission, housing, food and materials are provided. However, transportation is not. Transportation per teen is $585.00. Please consider supporting our teens in their effort to do the works that Christ spoke of in Matthew 25; ...Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me. Donations can also be made in the parish office, or by placing a donation in an envelope, marked Catholic Heart Workcamp and placed in the offertory basket. Checks should be made out to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.

 Operation LAMB-what’s that all about?

Have you seen these guys-or folks with similar attire? They are volunteering for Operation LAMB. What is Operation LAMB? It is more than Knights of Columbus and other volunteers giving out Tootsie Rolls in front of local businesses. Operation LAMB supports the LAMB Foundation of NC, a public 501(c)3 , not for profit charity that is dedicated solely to assisting people with intellectual disabilities within the state of North
Carolina,  to include several of our local schools! The organization is composed entirely of volunteers. As a result, 93% of the funds raised go directly to programs that support people with intellectual disabilities. For more information on the LAMB Foundation of NC visit their website: And, next time you see the folks in the bright yellow vests-stop and say hello-maybe drop something in their can-and talk to them-several of the volunteers are teachers in our local schools or families that benefit from the funds raised!

Moving this Summer? Please call the parish office and let us know if we need to deactivate you from our roles, or if we just need to update your local address.
