We pray that your summer is relaxing and that you are able to make some great family memories! Please remember us while you are making you plans and are away. The parish continues to operate during the summer. Masses continue to be celebrated, office personnel continue to work, and the parish hall is utilized for meetings, ministries, activities and special summer events! Your consistent contributions help support the day-to-day operation of the parish as well as all our ministries. Help our parish grow and expand our ministries and outreach! Contribute regularly this summer! Questions? Need help setting up your account? Call Carol in the parish office: 910-488-1797.
Rather than a monetary collection for the July 5th Sunday Collection, we are requesting specific items be donated to benefit three local organizations. We continue to accept the following items:
--New underwear, undershirts and socks sizes youth 6 to adult (to benefit local Foster Children)
--Baby diapers sizes 2 through 5 (Catholic Charities will distribute to their clients in need)
--Adult disposable pull up underwear (preferably large sizes)/Adult Diapers (Better Health will distribute to local persons in need)
Donations can be placed in the labeled boxes in the gathering space in the church, or dropped off to the parish office during business hours. We will continue to collect requested items throughout the month of July. If you decide to make a monetary donation, you can use the 5th Sunday envelope in you offertory envelope packet, or place a donation in a plain envelope marked 5th Sunday. Thank you for reaching out in a specific way to our local neighbors in need!
