The Seton Seniors was organized to provide a viable social outlet for active adults, age 55 and older. We are organized as a senior's club under the Cumberland County Parks and Recreation. We participate in activities such as picnics, dances and organized day trips as well as longer trips and cruises. Seton Seniors also support many parish activities. Meetings are held in the parish hall on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30am (except December). 55 Years and older is your passport to travel and friendship! Interested persons always welcome!
Our next meeting is February 9th!
Happy New Year Indeed! I trust that you enjoyed our very own guest speaker, Stacey Cashwell, as she inspired us all to take better care of ourselves by keeping those exercise, balance, and fitness resolutions we make to ourselves each year. Helping our bodies keep us going is so very important! Thanks again Stacey for your demonstrations and tips-and to our member participation!
We hope you are looking forward to a fun February! Join us February 9th (just before "Fat Tuesday"/Fasching-Germany) in the Parish Hall at 10:30am. We will be taking reservations and payment for the trip to The Inn at Celebrity Goat Dairy scheduled for March 13th. Lunch (on site) will follow the tour, with time to shop in their country store. The cost for this trip is $28. Coming home, we will be stopping at the Silk Hope Winery and that will be at your own cost.
Following the February 9th meeting, we will be going to Scrub Oaks (on Ramsey St) for a Valentine Lunch (on your own). We hope you join us as it just might hold surprises for some! Mark it on your calendars now so the date doesn't sneak up on you!
If you haven't paid your dues, please do so soon. We need an accurate membership roster. Please join us for fun, laughter and fellowship!
