The Seton Seniors was organized to provide a viable social outlet for active adults, age 55 and older. We are organized as a senior's club under the Cumberland County Parks and Recreation. We participate in activities such as picnics, dances and organized day trips as well as longer trips and cruises. Seton Seniors also support many parish activities. Meetings are held in the parish hall on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30am (except December). 55 Years and older is your passport to travel and friendship! Interested persons always welcome!
Our next meeting is July 10th, 10:30am in the Church!
Wow, what a great turnout for our June meeting with our guest speaker, April Lemert, who gave us a well-rounded glimpse into the various types of arthritis. Most of those in attendance participated in a relaxing lunch at Olive Garden. Our next meeting will be July, 10, 2018 and our guest speaker will be Patty Landy, who is an RN and also a Health Education Coordinator from Better Health. Her topic will be Diabetes and she plans to focus on foods as well as short-term complications of the disease. As a reminder, we meet the second Tuesday of each month except December whether it is for a meeting or a trip. Lunch is on your own, but we do usually pick a restaurant and go as a group. It is never too late to become a member---our membership rate is an economical delight: $5 per YEAR! Hope you have a pleasant remaining June. With the heat upon us, stay cool, safe and comfortable and do plan to join us in July!
We are a lively group with a full agenda for a year full of fun! Please join us for fun, laughter and fellowship!
