I am a native of North Carolina having been born here in Fayetteville and raised in the Newton Grove area of Sampson County.
I have a wonderful wife, Melissa, and the cutest dog in the whole world, Bear.
I found SEAS through my wife who was already a member here before we got married. When we decided that we were going to make our home here in Fayetteville it was only natural that I join.
Immediately upon my joining the parish, I was recruited into the youth ministry of the parish based upon my previous years of work with youth ministry all around the diocese. I worked as a volunteer from my arrival in 2011 until I was presented with the opportunity to take on the role in a more formal capacity in 2015.
Currently, I serve at the pleasure of the parish as the Director of Religious Education. I oversee the faith formation of our children in all grade levels as well as further formation efforts for adults of all ages.
Growing up in the very small town of Newton Grove, I grew up being accustomed to knowing everyone in my community. The people of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton have been so welcoming and open that I get that same small town feeling even though this parish and area is substantially larger. I look forward to continuing to meet more people of the parish and becoming even more involved in this community.
