Extaordinary Minister of Holy Communion

A Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC) assists the priest with the distribution of the Precious Body and Blood during the liturgy.

EMHC's are also needed to take communion to the sick and the homebound*.

Requirements for this ministry: Participants must be registered parishioners, fully initiated (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation) and complete the required training session. Scheduling is done on a monthly basis, and ministers are scheduled for the Mass they usually attend.

If you are interested or currently serve in this ministry, please attend one of the upcoming Training Sessions:
Thursday, October 27, 2022 / 6:30pm or
Saturday, October 29, 2022 / 10:00am
Training is held in the church.
* A separate training session will be scheduled for anyone who wishes to be an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion to the sick/homebound. Individuals who currently participate in this ministry will be required to attend.
