Mission Statement: We come together as a community in the Diocese of Raleigh to further the mission of the Catholic Church for the sake and greater glory of God and hastening the coming of God’s reign:

  • To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to share the Good News of salvation especially with those who have never heard it or have forgotten it.
  • To celebrate this revelation with full, conscious, and active participation in the Eucharist and the other Sacraments.
  • To grow in our understanding and appreciation of the Church through a variety of faith formation opportunities for all, especially in terms of fostering the continuing conversion and transformation of adults.
  • To manifest the Church’s teachings by the way of our lived discipleship through concrete acts of justice, charity, and the stewardship of our time, talent and treasure.
  • To respond to the continuing challenge of a rapidly growing population of the faithful; planning to manage growth and continue responsible stewardship for the future.

Pastor’s Vision Statement

As a faith community generously endowed with God’s gifts we pledge to be good stewards of those gifts so as to enrich the larger Fayetteville community.

To accomplish this goal and move forward with this vision we must first and foremost be a people of prayer, listen to God’s Word, and gather around the table of the Lord celebrating the living presence of Jesus Christ in Eucharist.  We need also to provide ongoing formation in the faith to all members of the parish from the youngest to the elderly.  We also must continue to provide opportunities for social development by taking time to “play” together as a parish

Guided by the Parish Pastoral Council, the Parish Financial Council, and the Parish Staff we will strive to use best our resources to provide for ongoing parish necessities and future growth, continuing our spirit of generosity to those outside of our immediate parish community.

Living and celebrating God’s goodness to us we will continue, in the words of St. Francis deSales, to “Live Jesus” in everything we do; not settling to be simply “good”, but striving always to be “great” in the eyes of God.
